  2. Eat protein and fiber. Yes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But that muffin ain’t cuttin’ it. Fill up with a substantial breakfast that will keep you going until your next meal. Our bodies take longer to digest fiber- and protein-rich foods – keeping us feeling fuller, longer.

  3. Pour a drop of peppermint essential oil, rub it between your palms and inhale. This will awaken your senses and get you moving.

  4. If you practice meditation, the AM hours are one of the best times to tap into positivity and mindfulness. Begin your day with a short meditation to mentally prepare for the day ahead.

  5. Use that morning motivation before it’s gone! Numerous studies have shown that our will-power is at its strongest in the morning. Start your workday by completing the most important (or most pressing) activities first.
